Exploration and discovery has always been a part of my creative process. I have always explored different places and situations since I got my first camera many years ago. When I began shooting with a digital camera, I became aware of the immense opportunities that the digital process provides as compared to the traditional film process.
As I began to learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop, I saw new possibilities where I could more easily combine the elements of different pictures to create new images that evoke different meanings than those that were originally captured in the camera. This process is known as photomontage and I have been exploring and experimenting with it for several years now.
